Who we are looking for…

We’re seeking a fantastic Loan Officer Assistant who will assist our Loan Officers in our Upper Charlotte branch in partnering with Realtors, Builders, and other clients in securing mortgage financing.  In this role, you must be technically competent and driven to help our customers.  You will need to bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a servant heart to this role.

What you'll need to be successful…

  • Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude.

  • •        Perform specific and general tasks assigned by manager/Loan Officers.

  • •        Stay acquainted with managers and Loan Officers current/daily schedules.

  • •        Meet with clients/business partners to obtain and complete all necessary documentation requirements.

  • •        Accurately obtain and review client’s data and financial profile.

  • •        Properly prepare files for submission to set up/processing.

  • •        Follow up with written and verbal communication to clients, builders, Realtors and business partners.

  • •        Consistently following up with clients keeping them informed of the loan process and status.

  • •        Ensure loan applications move through the process smoothly and closes in a timely manner.

  • •        Promptly respond to client’s questions and concerns.

  • •        Efficiently perform a variety of research duties to support the branch.

Job Requirements


  • •        At least three years’ experience in the mortgage lending and real estate industry preferred.

  • •        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • •        Proficient in Microsoft Office and capability to utilize office equipment.

  • •        Proficient organizational skills and ability to prioritize productivity

  • •        Excellent listening skills and understanding the client’s needs and able to set expectations.

  • •        Knowledge of interest rates, loan products and processing.

  • •        Rapid decisions making abilities and aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment daily.
