Where you come in: We're a great company with great people, and we're looking for an experienced Post Purchasing Specialist, who will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a servant heart to our team of top-tier mortgage professionals. This professional will work in a tight-knit, goal-oriented team.



The post purchasing specialist conducts financial reconciliation on all loans sold to balance expected corporate pricing and profit; and are directly involved in the review of the sales aspect of the business to include reviewing, analyzing and processing of purchase advices, reporting pools and purchase wires for accuracy.



What we need from you: Success in this job relies on your time management skills, organization, and positive attitude.



In addition, you’ll need to be able to:


  • Actively monitor and retrieve daily all applicable sources for purchase advices 

  • Prepare purchase advices for GNMA, FNMA and FHLMC pools

  • Enter into LOS the purchase advice data i.e. date purchased by investor, first payment date to investor and if it is a reduced or amortized loan, etc.

  • Review of the purchase advices carefully comparing data on the purchase advice with data in the LOS

  • Timely distribute all purchase advices received daily and any identify worst and better pricing to the appropriate contact group for further review and processing 

  • Review of each loan sale to determine if pricing and UPB were as expected and request a refund of pricing or UPB if the investor underpaid from the expected price/balance

  • Verify wiring information for a loan if requested by an investor for a sale

  • Perform other job-related duties and or special projects as assigned.



Job Requirements

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years closing or post closing or experience in Secondary Marketing, ability to review, reconcile and distribute purchase advices accurately, ability to detect, analyze and resolve to a conclusion any worse pricing arising from a loan sale, displays attention to detail, able to single handedly manage multiple priorities, proactive, professional and effective communicator, ability to follow established operating procedures and meet tight deadlines, performs tasks with a sense of urgency, ability to adapt and embrace change, fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
